Projects

Two creative projects explore identity through different visual approaches: a photographic series about Paris and a mixed-media inquiry into memory and migration. Both connect making images with articulating the ideas behind them.

Creative projects

Urban Perspectives

Photography exhibition · University of Paris · 2026

Urban Perspectives explores architecture, identity and everyday life in Paris through a photographic series. The work involved making the photographs, selecting and editing 20 images for a student exhibition, and presenting the artistic concept to students and faculty.

Shaping a series calls for judgment beyond the individual photograph: selection determines how the images work together to develop a subject. This project combined that editorial task with explaining the ideas behind the work to its exhibition audience.

Fragments of Memory

Mixed-media art project · University of Paris · 2025

Fragments of Memory investigates memory, migration and personal identity through artwork combining photography, painting and digital collage. Its themes bring remembered experience, movement and belonging into a shared visual inquiry.

An accompanying artistic statement and a presentation in a student critique session extended the project beyond the artwork itself. Together, these outputs paired experimentation across media with written and spoken articulation of artistic intent.

Academic project
